SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities)

Our SEND classes provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for children with additional needs. All lessons are private, ensuring your child receives focused attention and tailored support. Our instructors are trained in SEND techniques and engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to keep skills and strategies up to date.

We have experience supporting a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Down Syndrome
• Cerebral Palsy
• Dyspraxia
• Sensory Processing Disorders
• Epilepsy
• Anxiety or social communication difficulties
• Learning disabilities and developmental delays

Every child is different, and we encourage parents to let us know the best ways to communicate and support your child. We’re here to work with you to make swimming a positive, enjoyable experience.

We understand that trying swimming can feel like a big step. Over the years, we’ve welcomed many SEND children successfully, and we’re happy to send videos prior to their first session so your child can see the pool and meet their instructor before attending.

Please bring:
• Swim cap and goggles if your child prefers them
• Towel and a change of clothes for after the session
• Any personal toiletries shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and wet bags are not provided
• Flotation equipment is supplied
